Hotel Kai, a boutique hotel along Purvis Street, has been awarded with the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold). The award was established to “promote sustainability in the built environment and raise environmental awareness among developers, designers and builders when they start project conceptualisation and design, as well as during construction.”1 The award for Hotel Kai was under the category of Non-Residential Buildings.
ECAS was the C&S Consultant for the additions and alterations done to Hotel Kai which granted it the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold). To learn more about our involvement in the project, please click here.
This is our second project that has received a BCA Green Mark Award. Last year, the Spectra Secondary School received the BCA Green Mark Award (Platinum) for their green building initiatives. We were also the C&S Consultant for that project.
We look forward to implementing more green initiatives in our future designs to create a more sustainable Singapore.
