Accredited checking for Sixth Avenue MRT Station and King Albert Park MRT Station and tunnels. Contract 917 comprises of the design and construction of King Albert Park Station and Sixth Avenue Station. The mains structural element’s drawings and calculations of both permanent structures and temporary structure such as underground box structure, launch shaft, vent shaft, adit and twin bored tunnels Bukit Timah Road were checked to ensure compliance with the engineering codes and authority requirements, and are adequate and safe for future use. Each station is 180m long with 1400m long bored tunnels, and excavation depth of 19.5m to 21m.
These stations are constructed by bottom up construction method and using diaphragm wall for Temporary Earth Retaining System and permanent walls combined with skin wall during construction stages. These stations comprise of 1 level of platform and 1 level of concourse.
