Description:
The BCA Academy project consists of a basement carpark, a 16-storey building by APCS and PPVC, and a 7-storey building by MET.
The APCS is located from Level 1 to 11. The structural elements consist of precast column, precast RC and/or pretension beams (supported on corbels), and precast double T-Slabs.
The PPVC is located from level 12 to 16, with a roof. Each PPVC units comprised of 4 numbers of beams and columns, and RC slab on top of the beams. At each slab level, wet joints will be used to connect with adjacent PPVC units.
The MET is located from level 1 to 7, with glulam roof rafter of about 30m length. Typically, the floor layout comprises cross laminated timber (CLT) panel with concrete topping supported by glulam beams and glulam columns/steel columns.
